La Catedral de sal de Zipaquira se encuentra ubicada a 180 metros bajo tierra, representa uno de los logros más destacados de la arquitectura Colombiana, además de ser una mina de mucha fe para los mineros. El recorrido empieza por la primera estación que te llevará a lo largo de las 14 estaciones que componen el Vía-Crucis, finalizando así en el Gran Domo Central donde se encuentra la Cruz Principal.

Encontrarás un hermoso sitio lleno de grandes obras de la arquitectura colombiana, un pueblo colonial compuesto de mucha cultura, historia y preciosos lugares para disfrutar con amigos, además de conocer la famosa y espectacular mina de sal de Zipaquira. 

¿Qué debes llevar?

Como visitaras un municipio en el altiplano y su temperatura es max 18° te recomendamos llevar ropa abrigada, zapatos cómodos para caminar en la mina, agua y dinero de bolsillo.

Meet the first wonder of Colombia!

The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira is located 180 meters underground, it represents one of the most outstanding achievements of Colombian architecture, besides being a mine of great faith for the miners. The tour begins with the first station that will take you through the 14 stations that make up the Way of the Cross, ending at the Great Central Dome where the Main Cross is located.

You will find a beautiful place full of great works of Colombian architecture, a colonial town full of culture, history and beautiful places to enjoy with friends, besides knowing the famous and spectacular salt mine of Zipaquira. 

What to bring?

As you will be visiting a town in the highlands and its temperature is max 18°, we recommend you to bring warm clothes, comfortable shoes for walking in the mine, water and pocket money.
